In June 2018, our Director of Development attended the first ever CADCA (Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America) Seminar held in Hawai’i. Love attended the 2-day seminar with Keep It Flowing’s lead artist on Kaua’i; Trysen “TK” Kaneshige as well as supporters of Keep It Flowing’s past projects including E Ola Pono Ma Kapolei and HPPUD (Hawai’i Partnership to Prevent Underage Drinking) to learn about drug-prevention and under-age drinking prevention methods, grant and non-profit structures as well as how to best facilitate support for community outreach missions and generating sponsorship and fundraising from government and private agencies.
Nearly 150 individuals from Kaua’i, Maui, O’ahu and Hawai’i Island attended and graduated from this seminar.
